- Requires annual repotting, every spring, to a larger pot.
- Non-toxic to humans and pets. Except for the cats, which can suffer pains of belly for the ingestion of leaves.

- Light: It likes places with indirect light.
- Watering Moderate: When the substratum is drying out.
- Humidity: Adapts well to any humidity level.
- Top tip: Its trunks can only be twisted when the plant is young. As an adult its stems are already hard and could become twisted if you handle them.
